Transition's Industrial PoE+ switches are Power Sourcing Equipment (PSE) devices that are designed to comply with the IEEE802.3at 2009 and IEEE802.3af 2003 standards and combine data received over a fiber optic link with -50VDC power; providing power to Powered Devices (PD) over unshielded twisted pair cabling. These Industrial PoE+ Switches are hardened devices designed to reliably operate in harsh environments such as those found on factory floors, outdoor enclosures or other hazardous environments while providing all the benefits of PoE power.

The SISPM1040-384-LRT offers advanced Ethernet management, redundancy and security features coupled with rugged hardware performance for Industrial or Outdoor Power-over-Ethernet applications requiring high reliability and availability. It's four Gigabit speed SFP ports allow maximum flexibility in architecting a myriad of fiber-supported, powered network architectures. Its Gigabit-capable copper ports coupled with IEEE 802.3at Power-over- Ethernet Plus are ideal for supporting wireless access points with MIMO antenna diversity.
