Service Assured vCPE Toolbox Recognized for Excellence and Innovation
RAD, the industry pioneer of network edge virtualization, is the winner of the MEF 2018 Technology of the Year Award in the NFV category for its service assured vCPE Toolbox.
The award was presented during the MEF Awards Gala Dinner at MEF18 on October 30 in Los Angeles. The judging panel was comprised of global and regional senior analysts from ACG Research, ATLANTIC-ACM, Dell’Oro, Frost & Sullivan,
Futuriom, IHS Markit, Ovum, and Vertical Systems Research, in addition to independent judges.
Part of RAD’s Service Assured Access solutions, the comprehensive vCPE Toolbox offers everything service providers need to roll out NFV-based carrier-grade business services today while maintaining full openness to work with any VNF, SDN controller, orchestrator, and third-party white box.
“We’re extremely proud to have been recognized with this honour,” says Ilan Tevet, VP Marketing and Business Development at RAD. “We’ve received great feedback from the market for the demonstrated innovation and unique value that RAD’s vCPE Toolbox offers to service providers.
“Its wealth of options and the level of flexibility it allows have no parallel in the market, especially when it comes to ensuring network availability, health, security, automation, and WAN connectivity. CSPs can now avoid vendor lock-in and choose the best-of-breed elements that optimally suit their business needs.”
The MEF awards are given to companies that exhibit innovative solutions to emerging dynamic network services powered by LSO (Lifecycle Service Orchestration), SDN, NFV, SD-WAN, and Carrier Ethernet technologies.
